Fox Valley Jaycees, start your engines!   The Crystal Lake Jaycees are hosting 2011 Year End Regional (My Big Fat Redneck Regional) on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at The Pointe in Crystal Lake.

In addition to the Regional Officer Training provided by the Fox Valley Region, the Crystal Lake Jaycees will be providing a resume review and a mock interview workshop.   Bring your resume on a flash drive and your questions.  We'll have some computers and a printer available so you can print out copies for you to take home.

This year will mark a milestone for our community.  It is the 51st year that the Crystal Lake Jaycees have partnered with neighbors, volunteers, businesses and organizations to provide a brighter holiday for those less fortunate. Through corporate and individual
donations, we are able to provide food, toys and clothing to local families during the holiday season.

Then you won’t want to miss the First Annual McHenry County Mental Health Services Expo, 12 – 3 p.m., Sunday, October 9, at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park/Dole Mansion, 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake. This free event is sponsored by the Crystal Lake Jaycees.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to make sushi, the Crystal Lake Jaycees have a culinary workshop for you!    Join us in the culinary kitchen of the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park for a hands on workshop where you learn the intimate details on how to make delectable sushi.   We have two (2) workshops available with a limit of 20 students per class.  Sushi Chef/Owner of @Bangkok Thai & Sushi, Sam Phounsavant will teach this hands on class.

The Crystal Lake Jaycees are accepting nominations for their 50^th Annual Public Service Awards banquet to be held on Sunday, October 3^rd, 2010 at the Dole Mansion.
